New Council Member will be appointed at Tuesday’s meeting

An interview process with potential City Council appointees is scheduled early on the January 9th City Council agenda. Nine Chelan residents have applied for the open Council Position No. 2, which was vacated by Erin McCardle following her Mayoral election last November.
At the conclusion of the interviews, the council will adjourn to Executive Session for discussion. The City Council meeting will resume to announce the appointment of one of the applicants who will be sworn in to office and participate in the remainder of the City Council meeting.
