Darrick Meyers Joining Chelan Fire & Rescue

Chelan Fire & Rescue is happy to welcome Firefighter/EMT Darrick Meyers as its newest career member.
Darrick was born in Wenatchee and raised in Marysville, growing up with 5 sisters and playing year round sports. He graduated from Marysville-Pilchuk High School in 2010 and went on to graduate from Central Washington University in 2015 with a degree in Exercise Science.
Darrick started his Fire Service career with Chelan County Fire District 1 as a resident firefighter completing his IFSAC Firefighter I/II and Hazmat Operations certifications. He is a certified WA State Emergency Medical Technician as well as a Wildland Firefighter. In addition to his experience with Chelan County Fire District 1, he has also worked with North County Fire & EMS.
Darrick likes to spend his off duty time outdoors hiking or at his cabin at Lake Wenatchee. He is currently assigned to C-Shift for his probationary year.
