Fire burning above Manson near Grade Creek and Lower Joe Creek intersection

There is a Brush fire burning above Manson toward Antilon Lake where Grade Creek Road intersects with Lower Joe Creek Road. Multiple fire agencies have responded including Manson District 5. A second alarm has been issued which activates additional fire suppression personnel and support from Chelan, Orondo and Entiat.
Manson Fire Chief Arnold Baker says “fireworks has been listed as a possible cause and will be investigated.” Baker would like to remind everyone there is a complete ban on fireworks, including sparklers, throughout Chelan County.
The fire was first reported at 1:30 this afternoon.
