The Lake Chelan Valley has stirred up a caldron of frighteningly fun activities in celebration of Halloween in the coming days. The weekend will also offer a day to remember and honor loved ones who have passed during the annual Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration.

Scheduled activities are listed below.

On Saturday, October 28

  • From noon – 11:00 p.m.

To culminate month long “Haunted Manson” celebration of events, the inaugural Haunted Manson Block Party will be held in Downtown Manson. There’s a slew of activities scheduled on Saturday, from noon – 11:00 p.m. including street food, vendors, a Pumpkin Walk for kids, a Zombie Dash, a DJ Dance Party and a Silent Auction.

  • Launch at Noon

Join the Halloween witch paddle from bridge-t0-bridge on the Chelan River. Meet at the Riverwalk Boat Launch on Emerson. Bring your own SUP or kayak — and don’t forget your witch hat.

On Sunday, October 29

  • From noon – 4:00 p.m. / Parade at 1:30 p.m.

In support of our Hispanic community, Historic Downtown Chelan is pleased to host Día de los Muertos, brought to you by ¡Hola! Chelan.

Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is an important holiday in Latin American countries. It is a day that honors and celebrates loved ones who have passed and the relationship between life and death. You can expect a parade, face painting, carnival games, and more! The celebration will be on Sunday, October 29th from 12-4 PM in Historic Downtown Chelan. The parade starts at 1:30 PM on Woodin Avenue.

On Tuesday, October 31

  • From 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Woodin Avenue in downtown Chelan will be closed to vehicles to provide a safe environment as the little goblins (as well as cowboys, zombies, princesses and more) come out in force for the annual trick-or-treating event. There’s ghoulish activities for all ages. Thank you to all the downtown merchants for supplying trick-or-treating candy!

Get ready for spine-tingling fun at Campbell’s Haunted Bungalow! Dare to enter and step into a Halloween adventure like no other. Families, friends, and all those seeking a lighthearted scare are invited to join the festivities.

Trick or Treat at Lake Chelan Eagles. The Eagles are here to fuel all the little ghouls and goblins on All Hallows Eve! Delight in tasty treats and scrumptious grub at the Banquet Hall on the third floor.
