There was a full house at the Manson Chamber Meeting on Wednesday for a lengthy agenda of business and community items. First off was the presentation of a $2,000 college scholarship from the Rat Rod Committee to MHS Senior Marco Sanchez.
Marco’s impressive application packet includes strong letters of praise from several of his teachers and coaches at Manson High School. School Superintendent Matt Charlton was also on hand, beaming with pride as the check was awarded.
Marco indicated his desire to serve in the medical field because he wants to “help others and make a positive change in his community.” He will be attending Wenatchee Valley College.
