Debbie Conwell, Manson Chamber of Commerce Executive Director and Chairperson for “A Night to Remember” says, “This is one of my favorite events in Manson as we have the opportunity to recognize the “Stars” of our community. We’ll honor the Citizen of The Year, Teacher of The Year, Student of The Year, Business of The Year, Volunteer of the Year, Most Inspirational, and the Community Recognition Award for our Manson Apple Blossom Committee. The “Silent Auction” and “Dessert Dash”provides the Chamber with funding to provide services to our members and community. If you love Manson, you will see it at its best on this night. We dress it up and the Stars will be out.

This year marks our 4th year. We partner with the Kiwanis, Manson School District and a preselected community organization to honor some extraordinary people. This year our theme will be “Celebrating the Stars” and anyone is invited, you don’t have to be a Chamber member. We will celebrate at the Crosswinds Restaurant at Mill Bay Casino in Manson on October 10th starting at 6:00 pm.

Who comes to mind when you think of “Inspirational” or “Outstanding Volunteer”. Perhaps you know of a business in Manson that you just enjoy frequenting because… well, you fill in the blank because this is your chance to tell us about this person and business. This could be their night to be our “Star”.

Visit the nomination website to learn more about the criteria and recognize a deserving person. It is super easy, it won’t take long, and we have discovered how meaningful it is for these very special people when they are honored in front of their friends, family and community. For them, it is definitely a night to remember and we love participating.
