Manson High School is excited to introduce a pilot program using SchoolAI, an innovative platform designed to enhance learning for students, teachers, and parents. For students, AI offers personalized tutoring that adapts to their individual learning pace, helping them improve academic performance and master new concepts, Manson High School Principal Kamie Kronbauer said.
“Teachers will benefit by using AI to create more effective, differentiated lesson plans, address language barriers, and provide additional learning supports,” Kronbauer said. Parents can also utilize AI resources to monitor their child’s progress, reinforce lessons at home, and access supplementary tutoring materials. Teachers will guide students on ethical AI use, and a ‘Stoplight’ tool will indicate the level of AI usage allowed for assignments.”
As technology continues to shape the world, students must learn how to use AI responsibly and appropriately, Kronbauer said.
“This program will prepare students for a future where understanding and utilizing AI will be essential in many careers and everyday life,” she said. Student safety and privacy are top priorities at Manson High, with all AI platforms complying with privacy laws like FERPA, COPPA, and GDPR, and featuring security systems to flag inappropriate content or potential self-harm searches. The school is committed to transparency and will continue to provide detailed privacy policies for any AI tools used. This pilot program is an exciting step toward preparing students for the future, offering valuable tools for academic growth while ensuring a safe and ethical learning environment.”
