Manson Boys and Girls Tennis Both Win at Okanogan

It was an interesting day on the court as Okanogan arrived with only four boys, leading to an unusual match setup. Right from the start, Okanogan forfeited the #2 Singles, #3 Singles, and #2 Doubles matches, which resulted in automatic wins for Carston Steiner, PD Sanchez, and the doubles team of Gabe Cameron/Dylan Farrar for Manson. To complete the match, Okanogan had to rotate players, making for a unique competitive experience.

On the girls’ side, all matches were played as scheduled, and the Trojans secured dominant victories. Destiny Lopez controlled her #2 Singles match with a 6-1 win, while Maggie Gosvener blanked her opponent at #3 Singles with a perfect 6-0, 6-0 score. The doubles teams of Kayden Koth/Addie Richmond (#1 Doubles) and Stella Petersen/Brynn Williams (#2 Doubles) also won decisively at 6-0, (6-0).

With rain starting to pour heavily, the Okanogan coach called the match early, granting wins to those who had already established commanding leads. Despite the challenging conditions, the Trojans walked away with two wins
