High hopes for this strong Trojan team

A cold early spring day marked the opening day of practice for the 2024 Trojan baseball season with a healthy roster of 17 players turning out.

The Trojans are coming off a strong 2023 regular season with a record of 14-4, but ultimately misfired in a tough single elimination playoff loss to Okanagon.

Returning seniors Carter Lyman and last year’s Co-Pitcher of the Year-Brooks Pinski will lead the way looking for playoff wins in 2024.

Look for big contributions from returning 2023 All-League selected players-sophomore Cooper Pinski and junior Maddox Hazim as well as junior William Hutchinson and a great batch of freshmen and sophomore players ready to make their mark on the program.

With sound, veteran defense and pitching already in place, the team will focus on offense and baserunning. Improved power at the plate and more aggressive speed on the bases is on the agenda.

The Trojans’ first live action is a jamboree in Chelan on Saturday, March 9th starting at 11:00am vs Warden and Chelan.

GO TROJANS!!!
