On 10/04/2026, at 2124 hours, Chelan County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of an assault involving a firearm in the 200 Block of Summer Breeze Rd in Manson after a victim reported that an unknown vehicle arrived while he was visiting a friend. The victim reported that a person from the vehicle pointed a firearm at him.
As the victim left the area, the suspect vehicle followed him. The victim reported hearing at least one possible gunshot while driving away.
While responding, deputies obtained additional information about the suspect vehicle and located it a short time later. Deputies conducted a high-risk vehicle stop and took three subjects into custody.
Through their investigation, deputies developed probable cause and identified Anthony Navarrete as the primary suspect and driver. Navarrete was arrested and booked into the Chelan County Regional Justice Center for Assault in the Second Degree.
Deputies also recovered a firearm during the investigation, and impounded the vehicle which is pending a search warrant and further investigation. This remains an active investigation, and additional information will be released when appropriate.
