Chelan County is taking applications for 2025 lodging tax funds for tourism-related marketing efforts and events.
Applications are due by 5 p.m. on Oct. 15. Potential grantees must apply online at www.co.chelan.wa.us.
The county plans to allocated about $240,000 in marketing and events grants for the calendar year 2025. Successful grants must increase tourism and convention activity in Chelan County and boost overnight stays and/or increase retail sales primarily in unincorporated Chelan County. Last year, the county awarded just under $320,000 to 23 tourist-related groups.
Applications will be reviewed at the October meeting of the Chelan County Lodging Tax Committee, which makes a final recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners.
