Local Schools To Play in Holiday Tourneys

Chelan Hosts Holiday Hoops; Manson Travels to Leavenworth

Chelan Games will be broadcast on the LCN Sports Network

The Chelan and Manson basketball teams resume play this week as both schools are set to compete in Holiday Tournaments on Thursday and Friday.

The Goats will host the Chelan Holiday Hoops Tournament featuring teams from Cedarcrest, Highland and Oroville. All games will be played at the Chelan Community Gym and will also feature a Thursday noon game between the Chelan Boys JV team versus the Freshman team from Wenatchee.

On Friday, the tourney will showcase a number of “old” Goats in the highly popular Chelan Alumni game in addition to the tourney consolation and championship contests.

Meanwhile, the Manson Girls and Boys basketball teams will travel to Leavenworth to play in the Cascade Holiday Tournament on Thursday and Friday featuring teams from Cascade, Royal and Forks. Brackets and game times to be announced.
