Reminder: 12th District Virtual Town Hall Thursday, March 16, from 7-8 pm

information released

Dear Friends and Neighbors: After spending several long days and late nights on the House floor debating and voting on bills, we’ve passed another milestone. With some exceptions, Wednesday, March 8 was the last day for bills to pass out of the chamber in which they originated, or they are considered “dead” for the session.

Looking forward: We’ve resumed committee work considering bills coming from the Senate. Because I sit on two fiscal committees―including my work as the lead Republican on the Capital Budget Committee―for the next several weeks much of my time will be consumed by budget work.

  • Want to learn more? The Week Ahead is a caucus publication with information on critical bills being considered in the House.

Keeping you informed: With the flurry of activity the past couple of weeks, including 331 bills passed by the House to the Senate for further consideration, it’s more important than ever to update you on what’s happening in Olympia.

Meeting with you: Virtual town halls are a great way for me to report to you about this session’s progress. It also allows me to hear from you about the public policies and bills that matter the most to our communities and state.

Reminder: Along with my seatmate, Rep. Keith Goehner, I’m co-hosting a virtual town hall later this week to talk about the bills, budgets, and policies being worked on at the Legislature.

  • When: Thursday, March 16, 7-8 p.m.

How to register: Simply go to this link, enter your name, email address, city, ZIP code and state, and then click on “Register.”

Thank you!
