Travelers are encouraged to use the Odabashian Bridge (Hwy. 97)
Information released by Washington State Department of Transportation
Regularly scheduled bridge inspection will require lane closures on the George Sellar Bridge on SR 285, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Saturday and Sunday.
Work will begin on Saturday morning with the closure of the westbound right lane. When the crew has reached the west end of the George Sellar Bridge, they will close the eastbound right lane and continue inspection from west to east. These lane closures are expected to cause delays. Travelers are encouraged to use the Odabashian Bridge at the north end of Wenatchee.
Inspection work on Sunday will require the closure of the pedestrian path on the George Sellar Bridge. Bicyclists and pedestrians will need to cross the river using the Columbia River pedestrian bridge north of the George Sellar Bridge on Sunday.
Any changes to the work will be shared on the travel alert page and on Twitter @WSDOT_East.
