Focus shifts to Manson for the grand finale of Winterfest activities

After a festive MLK Weekend kick-off to Lake Chelan’s annual Winterfest with activities centered in downtown Chelan, the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce is excited to continue the Winterfest fun into next weekend in downtown Manson.

Festival-goers can taste local sparkling wines at the Bubble Brunch, dance to live music at the Ice Bar, Polar Bear Plunge into Lake Chelan, and so much more.

The full schedule for the weekend includes the following:

Friday, January 19

  • Daily: Winterfest Button Offers
  • 3:00 – 6:00 p.m: Kids Crafts & Cocoa
  • 5:00 p.m: Ice Bar Opens, 100 Wapato Way
  • 5:00 – 7:00 p.m: Live Music w/ Dani Bacon, Main Stage, 100 Wapato Way
  • 7:30 – 9:30 p.m: Live Music w/ Whiskey Trail, Main Stage, 100 Wapato Way

Saturday, January 20

  • Daily: Winterfest Button Offers
  • 11:00 a.m. -12:30 p.m: Bubble Brunch Session 1. Lake Chelan Visitor Center, 10 Wapato Point Parkway
  • Noon: Ice Bar Opens, 100 Wapato Way
  • Noon – 4:00 p.m: Face Painting + Meet Elsa & Olaf. Head over to the Manson Grange (157 E Wapato Way) to visit with and get a picture with Elsa and Olaf. Face painting also available. Both of these activities are complimentary.
  • Noon – 4:00 p.m: Mitten Walk – downtown Manson. Pick up your free supplies at the Lake Chelan Visitor Center, 10 Wapato Point Parkway…then follow your treasure map to each business in the order that they are listed and receive a treat at each one! You will find the matching mitten to complete your pair at the last stop.
  • 2:00 – 3:30 p.m: Bubble Brunch Session 2. Lake Chelan Visitor Center, 10 Wapato Point Parkway
  • 2:00 – 3:30 p.m: Live Music w/ Owen Barnhart – Main Stage
  • 4:00 – 5:45 p.m: Live Music w/ The Skiffs – Main Stage
  • 6:00 p.m: Lighting of The Flames of Intention. Take a moment and write any intentions you may have for 2024 on a piece of paper. The paper may burn, but your intentions will live on.
  • 6:30 p.m: Fireworks Display @ Manson Bay
  • 7:00 – 9:30 p.m: Live Music w/ Full Vinyl Jacket – Main Stage

Sunday, January 21

  • Daily: Winterfest Button Offers
  • 1:00 p.m: 6th Annual Viki Downey Polar Bear Plunge – Manson Bay Park. Take the Plunge: 100% of pledges and donations are used to provide free swim lessons at Manson Bay Park. Or spectate: have fun dressing up, warm up by the bonfire and enjoy hot chocolate or coffee.
