Chelan will host the first of two local Fourth of July fireworks Fireworks shows this Saturday night off of Don Morse Park. The Rockin’ Fourth display is sponsored by the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce as fireworks will light up the sky for the 14th consecutive year to celebrate the holiday weekend.

Visitors to downtown Chelan will have front row seats along with folks in local parks, resorts, wineries and waterfront homes! Chamber Director Mike Steele encourages the public to enjoy the free show and to adhere to fireworks restrictions. Said Steele, “with the warm temperatures and dry conditions, we ask all residents to take extra caution when participating in the festivities and to please refrain from using any personal fireworks. Please help us keep The Lake Chelan Valley safe during fire season.”

The Saturday night fireworks display is scheduled to start at 10 pm. For more information you can visit the Chamber online at www.lakechelan.com.

The Manson community will celebrate on Sunday with their 42nd Annual Fireworks Show and Independence Day celebration. Dubbed “The Big Show”, Sunday’s activities start at 7 pm with live music from the Lakeboys at Manson Bay Park.

The Manson Chamber of Commerce notes their fireworks display will once again be one of the largest in Eastern Washington. Sponsored by the Chamber, the event is 100 percent community funded.

Holiday related activities in Manson will actually begin on Thursday with live music events scheduled at various wineries throughout the weekend. For more information on all of the activities in Manson, contact Chamber Director Debbie Conwell at debbie@moretomanson.com or by phone at 509-888-1553.
