2nd Annual Continental Surf Cup is this Labor Day Weekend

Bragging rights for river wave surfing will be on the line this Saturday and Sunday as Lakeside Surf hosts the 2nd annual Continental Surf Cup featuring competitors from the United States and Europe.
Team Europe prevailed last year when the first ever team format tourney was held in Chelan. The event exceeded expectations drawing capacity crowds and rave reviews from spectators and surfers alike.
24 surfers will compete this weekend with $11,000 in prize money at stake. The event will take place Saturday and Sunday.
Spectator admission is free to the public. Food and beverages will be available from Surfside Tacos and Twocan Jenny’s Surf Bar.
Lakeside Surf is located at 106 Waterslide Drive next to Slidewaters Waterpark. Free parking will be available in the upper Slidewaters lot.
