The Lake Chelan Lion’s Club is pleased to announce the recipients of their 2024 scholarships! A big congratulations to Edith Rodriguez Martinez, Angel Pineda, and Shawn Strouble!
The Scholarship Committee, comprised of Mary Watson, Barbara Korando, and Mike Cushing, were incredibly impressed with all the applications. The Lion’s Club is proud to $2,000 scholarships to each of these deserving students who will be pursuing their dreams at Wenatchee Valley College, Cutting Edge Barber College, and Bates Technical College.
Edith is going into Nursing, Angel is on his way to becoming a Barber, and Shawn will be diving into the world of Cybersecurity. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for them!
