Chelan Golfers Visit Lone Point Cellars

Golf Club can be as much about socializing as it is about tee times. The Lake Chelan Senior Men’s Golf Club Members and Friends recently traveled to Brewster for lunch and wine at the new Lone Point Winery and Restaurant which offers outstanding views of the Columbia River.
Lone Point is located a short distance from the Gamble Sands Golf Course so the group wanted to try this new lunch location. The group enjoyed wine tasting, including wine slushies, along with hors d’oeuvres and a full lunch menu. After lunch the group toured one of the new Hotel Rooms.
About the Senior Men’s Golf Club:
The Lake Chelan Senior Men’s Golf Club is open to golfers age 55 and older. The cost to join the Club is $65.00 a year. Club members play every Wednesday through 10/30/19 at the Chelan Municipal Golf Course. Tee times are at 8:00 AM.
Golfers of all skill levels are encouraged to join the Club. The Club will assist new Members in establishing and maintaining a USGA Handicap. And, guests are invited to play with the Club Members on Wednesdays. The Club Members hold several game competitions each Wednesday that are designed to allow all the Members to compete for game prize awards.
Membership in the Senior Men’s Golf Club also includes membership in the Men’s Golf Club. The Men’s Golf Club plays every Sunday at the Chelan Golf Course and is open to Men age 18 and older.
