The Lake Chelan Arts Council is pleased to announce the recipients of the Council’s new Visual Arts Scholarship. The 2019 recipients are Sarah Brownfield and Sierra Rothlisberger, both graduates of Chelan High School. A $1,000.00 scholarship will be awarded to each, to be made payable to the college each student has chosen to attend, starting in September 2019.

Six students turned in applications for the scholarship.  Each showed a high level of academic and community involvement, as well as impressive artistic ability.  Ms. Brownfield and Ms. Rothlisberger demonstrated, to an exceptional degree, their desire to continue their study and pursuit of the arts in college.

Ms. Brownfield will be attending Western Washington University and Ms. Rothlisberger will be attending Washington State University.

The Lake Chelan Arts Council invites the Chelan Valley community to join with us in congratulating Sarah and Sierra for their achievement.

The Lake Chelan Arts Council is a non-profit 501(c)(3).  Funding for the Visual Arts Scholarships and other Council projects are made possible thru the support of the Chelan Valley community.
