Lady Goats Defeat Omak 28-6 in League Play

The Chelan Lady Goats softball team bounced back from double header losses to Ephrata to defeat Omak 28 to 6 in their first CTL league game.
The Lady Goats were led by Lexi Gleasman who went 4 for 4 with 4 runs scored and 5 RBIs and Casey Simpson who was 4 for 4 with 4 RBIs and 3 stolen bases. Taylor Boykin also had 4 RBIs. The Lady Goats pounded out 17 hits and stole 19 bases in the win.
Charla Goodman got the win pitching all 5 innings giving up 2 hits and 2 earned runs while walking 4 and striking out 6.
The entire team improved their play for this win.
Next up: Thursday (3/28) Chelan varsity travels to Brewster, while the JV team hosts Manson.
On Saturday (3/30) Chelan hosts Cascade in a double header at Mountain Goat Field.
