Enjoy Four-days of “Back to Our Roots in Cowboy Boots”
information released
Faster than a steer out of a rodeo chute, the Chelan County Fair will return this week for four days of fun-packed entertainment and activities.
Back to Our Roots in Cowboy Boots, this year’s fair theme, kicks off on Thursday, Sept. 5, and runs through Sunday, Sept. 8. A full fair schedule is available in the 2024 Fair Guide. Or check out the fair’s new website or its Facebook page.
Some days not to miss this year are:
- Wednesday is Exhibitor Day. Bring those exhibits to the fairgrounds between noon and 8 p.m. There is no fee to exhibit at the fair, and Wednesday is the only day exhibitors can buy their reduced-priced entrance tickets.
- Thursday is Senior Citizens Day. Seniors, aged 62 and older, get in for free from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Friday is Agrication Day. From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., kids ages 17 and under get in free. Limit five kids for every one adult.
- Sunday is Buddy Day at the carnival. Buy one armband, get second for $19. Armbands to the Davis Shows NW Carnival are $38 each.
One-day tickets to the fair are $12 for adults (18-61), $8 for senior citizens (62 and older), $8 for students with a high school ASB card, $40 for families (two adults and up to three youths) and free to children 5 and younger. Details about season tickets are online. Tickets also can be purchased online.
At the Chelan County Fair, entrance to the Thursday and Friday night entertainers, as well as the PRCA rodeo on Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon, are free with your admission ticket into the fair!
