Schools across the State Recognize Classified Staff

Governor Jay Inslee has signed a proclamation designating this week Public School Classified Staff Appreciation Week.
Chelan School Superintendent Barry DePaoli indicated the school district makes a special effort during this week to show their gratitude to the 90+ LCSD classified staff who provide their expertise and support throughout the school district every day.
In a district wide email, DePaoli wrote: “Thank you to all of our classified employees. I appreciate and value all the work you do on behalf of our students, staff and the community. Quite honestly your work is invaluable!
So hats off to our nurses, bus drivers, custodians, maintenance personnel, office professionals, pre-K instructors, para-professionals, food service staff, educational and technical support staff!
Thanks for what you do for all of us and who you are; you are the BEST!!”
