In recognition of “Lab Week”, the Lake Chelan Health Lab Department recently concluded their 2nd Annual Fill the Bank Challenge. The challenge is designed to establish a friendly competition to raise the largest amount of food or cash donations for the local food bank.

Over the span of a couple of weeks, the staff at Lake Chelan Health were able to raise $5,178 for the Lake Chelan Valley Food Bank. Because food banks can purchase food at a lower cost, that actually equates to about $12,000 worth of food.

Thank you to community members who donated food and cash to support your friends and neighbors.

The Lake Chelan Food Bank is designated a 501-3C non-profit and relies on generous support from various donors and organizations. All proceeds remain here to support the Chelan Valley. If you would like to help, no gift is too large or too small. For more information, visit the Food Bank Website or call 509-368-4151.
