Save the date for the 70th Anniversary Celebration of Lake Chelan Community Hospital & Clinics (LCCHC). The event will focus on the organization’s history and future and be held Saturday, Nov. 3 from 11 AM to 2 PM at the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce Building on Woodin Avenue.

Families are welcome to stop by the celebration at any time. It will feature historical displays, a photo booth and oral history recordings, as well as a get-well card-making station and free blood pressure and blood sugar tests by LCCHC Emergency Medical Services. Anniversary dessert provided.

There will be a special presentation and program at noon. Dr. Keri Bergeson of Columbia Valley Community Health will share about the upcoming Chelan residency program, and several individuals will be honored, including Dr. Tobe Harberd of Lake Chelan Clinic for his recognition as Washington State’s Rural Healthcare Provider of 2018.

Representatives from LCCHC’s architect and contractor companies, as well as the new hospital building’s project manager, will be on hand to answer questions about the building project.

Broadcaster Dennis Rahm will be on hand throughout the event to record some of your memories to include in the oral history. Appointments for the recordings are encouraged, but not mandatory.

Join the hospital to celebrate 70 years of healthcare history in the Lake Chelan Valley. Call 509-726-6006 for more information.
