School District asks for boat and trailer removal

The Lake Chelan School District is preparing for school this fall and are requesting that local residents and guests remove their boats and trailers from school parking lots.
Over the past few weeks, boat and trailer parking at the local high school has become problematic. Effective Sunday, August 2nd, no boats or trailers will be allowed to park in the main lot in front of the High School. All boats and trailers must be cleared to be available for school district use.
Note: The photo above was taken on Monday morning, August 3rd. Many, but not all of the boats and trailers had been removed.
Boats and trailers will be allowed to park at the side and back parking lots until August 16th. Boats and trailers remaining on school parking lots after this date may be subject to towing.
