Chelan Football travels to Lakeside Nine Mile Falls on Friday for Crossover Game

In a spectacular display of skill and teamwork, Chelan High School’s football team triumphed over Cascade in a decisive 54-13 victory on Friday night. The Chelan team demonstrated exceptional prowess on both offense and defense, securing the win in a commanding fashion.
From the kickoff, Chelan Football set the tone for the game, starting fast and never looking back. Running back Lance Gogal showcased his exceptional talent, carrying the ball an impressive 29 times for 208 yards and scoring three touchdowns. Landon Johnson also made a significant impact, carrying the ball nine times for 72 yards and contributing a touchdown to the team’s victory.
In the passing game, quarterback Isaac Wilson displayed remarkable accuracy, completing his first 9 attempts and finishing the evening 11-14 for 108 yards and three touchdown passes. Wilson’s precise throws found their mark, with Ryan Rainville making six receptions for 61 yards and scoring two touchdowns. Jacob Allen also contributed with two catches for 32 yards and one touchdown.
On the defensive front, Dominick Solorza emerged as a standout player with eight solo tackles, showcasing his prowess and determination. The defense proved its mettle by forcing three interceptions during the game. Oliver Reed, Landon Johnson, and Jacob Allen each secured an interception, with Allen’s interception being returned for a touchdown, adding crucial points to the team’s scoreline.
Coach Todd expressed immense pride in the team’s performance, praising their dedication, discipline, and unwavering spirit. “Our players showcased exceptional teamwork tonight. Their hard work and commitment are truly commendable, and this victory is a testament to their talent and determination,” said Coach Todd.
With this resounding win, Chelan Football reaffirms its reputation as a force to be reckoned with in high school football. Chelan finishes the regular season with a 6-3 record. On Friday (11/3) they will travel to Lakeside Nine Mile Falls for a crossover game with the winner advancing to state. Kickoff will be at 7:oo p.m.
