Longer layover now possible via the fastest boat on Lake Chelan — the Lady Cat

Starting June 26, the Lake Chelan Boat Company is offering longer layover options for passengers to enjoy one of the most unique places on earth, Stehekin, Washington. Located 55 miles up to the head of Lake Chelan, Stehekin is a small community nestled in the heart of the North Cascade Mountains that is full of adventure.
Typically, when passengers take the scenic boat tour up to Stehekin, they can only spend one to three hours exploring. Now, anyone can enjoy Stehekin up to six full hours.
The Lady Cat, who had been sitting idle until this year, has been seen more on the water than it has in years. Now, along with the Lady Express, she will be a part of the three different combo layover options:
- Cascade Flyer (3 Hour Layover)
- Speedway (4.5 Hour Layover)
- The Liberty (6 Hour Layover)
This makes Stehekin activities more available to those who would like to go back home after a day of fun. Fishing, hiking, Stehekin Valley tours, bike riding, and Polaris Ranger rentals are just a few of many things anyone can do while spending the day in Stehekin.
These Stehekin Layover Combos will be available Friday and Saturday all summer long. The Lady Express will continue to run her usual run every day and the Lady of the Lake on Sundays starting July 5.
