Free Football Camp Scheduled July 24 & 25

The 6^th annual Chelan Football Kids Camp, a free event for incoming first through sixth graders, will be held July 24^th and 25^th at Sargent Field.

Chelan High School football coach Travis Domser says “the whole idea of the camp is to have fun playing football”.

Campers will receive hands on coaching in basic football skills covering offense, defense and kicking. Coach Domser notes the camp is also an opportunity to held jump start the Youth Football program.

Camp hours are 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. both days. No pre-registration is necessary, although participants should arrive a half hour early on Tuesday, July 24 for the on site registration. The camp normally draws 50 to 60 participants. All campers will receive a ball or t-shirt.
