The Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest headquarters office and reception desk located at 215 Melody Lane in Wenatchee, Washington is now open following renovations of the leased office space.
Visitor information, firewood cutting permits for the Wenatchee River, Entiat and Chelan Ranger District areas, and recreation passes (Northwest Forest Pass-annual and day use permit), and free-use mushroom permits are now available in-person Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Information services also remain available through the forest website or by phone 509-664-9200. National Forest maps and recreation permits are available at the Wenatchee River and Chelan Ranger District offices or can be purchased online.
Some Forest Service recreation permits or maps are available through a few local vendors, such as Bi-Mart, Sportsman’s Warehouse, Big 5, Hooked on Sports.
