Cause of the fire is under investigation

Firefighters responded quickly Thursday night to a brush fire east of the Chelan airport off Highway 97-A. Units responded from Chelan, Manson, Entiat, Orondo and Wenatchee.
A spokesman for Chelan District 7 said the fire pushed by wind moved quickly and covered about 25 acres. There were no injuries and no structures damaged. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
