Chelan Baseball dominates the list

The Caribou Trail League and District champion Chelan Goats dominated the selections to this year’s All-League baseball squad announced recently. Of the 10 first team picks, seven are from Chelan led by Player of the Year Gage Estes. The honors extended to coaching as well with Goats head coach Dana Papasedero named as Coach of the Year.
In addition to the senior Estes, also named first team all-league were seniors Colt Corrigan, Sam Austin, Quinn Stamps, and Bryson Darlington along with juniors Cade Christopherson and Breckin Sporseen. Junior Connor Wilson was named second team all-league.
In Softball, senior Lexi Gleasman was selected to the all-league first team. Two Lady Goats, senior Sierra Shively and junior Charla Goodman were named to the second team and senior Jade Hatherall received honorable mention.
In Boys’ soccer, all-league first team honors went to junior midfielder Alexander Marron of Chelan. Goats named to the second team include seniors Miguel Castro and Salvador Villanueva, junior Anndrick Espana and sophomore Jonathon Ramirez. Chelan sophomore Luis Mendez received honorable mention recognition.
Congratulations to all the Chelan athletes on their all-league selections. All-League teams in Golf, Tennis and Track will be determined at a later date.
