Lake Chelan Health EMS will be hosting another COVID-19 vaccine clinic on Friday at the Chelan Fire Station. The clinic is for anyone five years and older and will offer vaccines from Pfizer, Moderna and J&J. For scheduling assistance call 509-726-6073 for visit online to pre-register at www.lakechelanhealth.org. Friday’s clinic hours are from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The hospital also reports that free COVID test kits are available at the Express Care walk-in clinic located at 219 East Johnson Avenue. The clinic is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Earth Day – Max’s Health Fun Run
In other community news, Lake Chelan Health invites the public to visit their booth at the April 16th Earth Day at Riverwalk Park. The hospital will be offering free bike helmets and fittings and a coloring contest.
Also at the Earth Day event, Lake Chelan Health and Wellness Foundation is sponsoring the Max’s health walk/jog/run. Sign up and then complete a loop around Riverwalk Park and earn a ticket for free prize drawings.
