Respond online or in person either in Chelan or Wenatchee
information released
Every seven years, Chelan County updates the Recreation Element of the Chelan County Comprehensive Plan.
The Recreation Element ensures eligibility for specific grant-funding opportunities that can help fund the implementation of priority actions identified within the plan update.
When updating the Recreation Element, gathering public input is critical to ensure community priorities are included. For the 2024 update, the public engagement component utilizes both a survey and February in-person events to compile these priorities.
The public is encouraged to complete the survey online. Available now in both English and Spanish, the survey takes 5 to 10 minutes to complete and is open until Feb. 16. Survey participants can identify what improvements they would like to see and where.
In-person events are scheduled Feb. 7 and Feb. 8 at the below locations:
- Feb. 7: 6 to 8 p.m. at Chelan City Hall, 135 E. Johnson Ave. in Chelan
- Feb. 8: 5 to 7 p.m. at Confluence Technology Center, 285 Technology Center Way in Wenatchee.
