Stayman Flats Road and Chelan Falls Bridge on this week’s list

Road Alert: Ohme Road. Motorists traveling on Ohme Road in Wenatchee should expect some minor traffic delays on Tuesday, Oct. 1, as crews remove trees along the roadway. From 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., the road will be at one lane, with a flagger directing traffic. Motorists are asked to avoid the area if possible. Delays are expected. Work is reliant on equipment and weather conditions.
The following is a list of regularly scheduled maintenance for Chelan County Public Works for the week of Sept. 30, 2019. Maintenance plans may change with weather conditions or equipment difficulties. Visit the Public Works website, where the weekly road maintenance information is regularly updated.
District 1 (Wenatchee)
Crews will be working throughout the district cleaning culverts and ditching.
District 2 (Cashmere)
Crews will be cleaning culverts in the Cashmere District as well as helping with storm cleanup in the Wenatchee District.
District 3 (Leavenworth)
On Monday and Tuesday, the crew will be cutting hazardous trees on Chumstick Highway. Motorists should expect one-lane, flagger-controlled traffic in the work area. Minor delays may occur. The crew also will be hand patching throughout the district and ditching and mowing on White River Road.
District 4 (Entiat)
On Entiat River Road, the crew will be filling washouts between mileposts 13 to 14 as well as cleaning ditches at milepost 15. Watch for one-lane, flagger-controlled traffic when the crew is ditching. The crew also will be working on a culvert in Pitcher Canyon.
District 5 (Chelan)
Crews will be crack sealing on Stayman Flats Road. The road will be one lane, with flaggers controlling traffic. The crew also will be ditching in the Boyd Road area as time and weather allow. Please plan for one-lane, flagger-controlled traffic in the work zones. And the crew will be doing bridge repairs on the Chelan Falls Bridge. No traffic impacts are expected there.
