Plan for short delays with flagging crews
Information submitted by Chelan County Public Works
On Monday, the Road Preservation crew is expected to finish up pre-level work in Cashmere. The crew will be working on Mount Stuart Drive and Red Apple, Hughes and Old Monitor roads.
From Cashmere, the crew moves on to the Chelan District for road preservation. On Tuesday, the crew is expected to be doing pre-level work on Green Avenue, Washington Street and Klate and Swartout roads.
During preservation work, the roadway is at one lane, with a flagger directing traffic. Please plan for short delays in the work zones or avoid the areas if you can when crews are working. Property owners are asked to remove all vehicles and RVs from the roadway so crews can work.
Preservation work is highly weather and equipment dependent.
