Chelan Musicians are Showcased in State Competition

On April 27, 2019 Isabella Evans and Caroline Kelly performed and competed at the WIAA and Washington Music Educators Association (WMEA) State Solo & Ensemble Competition at Central Washington University.
Both students gained entry into the final round of state competition through their performances at the North Central Washington Music Educators Association (NCWMEA) Solo & Ensemble Regional Competition in Wenatchee on January 26, 2019.
This is a great accomplishment as 5,309 musicians competed at the regional level to move on and perform at the 42nd Annual 2019 State Solo Contest. 636 musicians performed solos at the state competition for a panel of adjudicators and an audience of their peers.
