Cash, drugs and weapons seized in CRDTF sting

Sgt Chris Foreman reported the Columbia River Drug Task Force completed an investigation into a well-known Methamphetamine and Fentanyl drug dealer in the Wenatchee Valley.
On January 17th, 2025, a search warrant was served in the 300 block of Hurds River Ranch Lane in Malaga, WA. That search warrant resulted in the arrest of Daniel “Grinch” McClellan, a 38-year-old male.

McClellan has previous convictions for drug deliveries and unlawful possession of a firearm in the 1st degree. Fentanyl in the form of pills and powder were recovered at McClellan’s residence. A second search warrant was served at storage units in Douglas County belonging to McClellan. That warrant resulted in methamphetamine and 2 pistols being located and seized.
McClellan was charged with two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm in Douglas County and Possession of Fentanyl with intent to deliver in Chelan County. Over $3,000 in cash was seized and believed to be proceeds of fentanyl and methamphetamine sales.
