Expect detours and some delays starting Monday

A contractor for the City of Chelan will begin work to install new sewer line across State Route 150 west of Chelan on Monday, March 18.
Work will occur near the intersection of SR 150/Manson Highway and Cotter Rd./ at milepost 6.61 (between the roundabout and A&J Mini Storage). The contractor will work nights between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m.
A detour on Bighorn Way will be in place during construction working hours (8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.). SR 150 will be open to traffic, with a reduced speed limit from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Property owners in Orchard View Estates will have access along SR 150 east of Bighorn Way. There will be no access on SR 150 from the Roundabout north. The area under construction will be barricaded to all vehicles during construction hours.
The project is scheduled to be completed by Friday, March 22, but work is dependent on conditions. Travelers should plan for longer than normal travel times between Manson and Chelan when the detour is in place.
