The City of Chelan has announced two upcoming construction projects, Golf Course Road Water and Sewer project and Lift Station No. 5 Improvements and Force Main Replacement. Overview progress reports for both projects are shown on the City’s public works website located at this link: https://cityofchelan.us/departments/public-works/.
Both projects will be impacting traffic. Golf Course Road will be closed to through traffic from the intersections of No See Um Road to Hillcrest Place for a majority of the project duration. The detour route is on No See Um Road and Golf Course Drive, as shown in the progress report. The Lift Station No. 5 project will primarily be constructed within the shoulder of Woodin Avenue. Traffic delays of approximately 5 minutes should be anticipated for the duration of this project.
