Hola Chelan Valley invites the public to take part in a day of fun this Sunday in celebration of Cinco De Mayo. The activities start with a 12:30 pm parade along Woodin Avenue.
Following the parade, a celebration of family fun is scheduled to take place at Riverwalk Park. Activities will include live music and dancing, events for kids, folkloric dancing as well as dancing and singing contests for prizes. Food will also be available in the park.
Hola Chelan Valley will also host a Royalty contest with a scholarship to be awarded to the winner. The organization is hosting the Sunday Cinco De Mayo event to create a fun, family event while highlighting the music and dance of Mexican heritage at the same time as giving back to the youth in the community with the Royalty program.
