CHS Thespians Among NCW Theatre Award Nominees

Nominees for the 2nd Annual Apple Awards have been announced by the Numerica Performing Arts Center. The awards program celebrates North Central Washington high school students for  innovation and excellence in theatre. The virtual awards will be held on Monday, June 1st at 7:00 p.m.

Alex Haley, interim executive director stated the desire to continue the tradition and figure out a way to honor student accomplishments.  Without a live stage option, the awards ceremony will be featured live on Numerica PAC’s Facebook, YouTube and their website.

Presenters from the industry will announce the awards as well as performing sketches and various other acts. Haley indicated the nominees will be participating through a live Zoom conference call.

The event is free, however there is a fundraiser element that coincides with the event. Donations can be made at the Numerica PAC website throughout the evening.
