Caribou Trail League Takes Top Two Places in Pole Vault

With a clearance of 11-feet, Chelan’s Elly Collins vaulted her way over every competitor except one to earn second place at the State Competition. Congratulations to Elly!
The Caribou Trail League went one and two in the state tournament pole vault event with Julia Armstrong of Cascade High School barely edging out Collins at 11.03.
Chelan’s Matea Ivory has advanced in the 100 meter and will race again today (photo below). The tournament is being held at Roos Field on the Eastern Washington University Campus in Cheney.
Lake Chelan Now would like to thank Josh X. Peterson photography for supplying these great photos as well as the many others he has provided to us over the past year. Josh earned his way to Cheney to participate (and photograph) at state as a member of the Entiat Tigers’ 4 x 100 relay team.
