Alcala and Gordon both go 3-0

The Chelan wrestlers headed to the Cashmere invite Saturday to wrestle teams from across the state. Chelan finished the tournament in 5th place out of 17 teams.
CHS has two champions (Erik Alcala 160 and Skyler Gordon 182), one 2nd Place (JJ Mercado 138), two 3rd Place (Jahir Garduno 126 and Nate Alcala 182) and two 4th Place (JC Austin 132 and Angel Mendoza 195).
Erik and Skyler both went 3-0 winning all their matches by pins. This was Jahir and Nate’s first high school tournament. Both went 3-1
On Wednesday, 12/19, Chelan will host dual varsity matches at home vs. Cashmere and Okanogan starting at 6:00 p.m.
