Boys in the hunt for a 3rd consecutive CTL title

The Chelan and Cascade boys entered the day tied for 1st in the CTL with one loss each.  Tonight’s Chelan win clinched at least a share of their 3rd consecutive CTL title, and they can win it outright with a Tuesday victory in Cashmere.

Boys:  Chelan 5, Cascade 0

#1 Singles: Rylen Moody def Charlie Lyons 7-6 (7-5), 6-1 <Rylen had an outstanding comeback in the first set tiebreaker.  After being down 1-5, he rattled off 6 consecutive points.>
#2 Singles: Ian Garfoot def Blue Knutson 7-6 (7-2), 6-2
#3 Singles: Cray Silva def Ethan Flansburg 6-0, 6-0
#1 Doubles: Wade & Tristan Sanderson def Caden Peterson/Jasper Bard 6-3, 1-6, 6-2
#2 Doubles:  George Neff/Caleb Sanderson def Miles Porter/Rhone Goodfellow 6-4, 7-6 (9-7)
I’m really proud of the clutch play tonight by our boys team.  They gutted out every single big point in the big moments, winning each tiebreaker that was played, and the 3rd set in boys #1 doubles.

Our seniors (Maya, Elllie, Josie) continue to be impressive.  Our young players are competing well against other squads’ veterans.
