Goats post wins over Omak and Cascade on Saturday

The defending state champion Chelan Volleyball team continued  their strong play last Saturday with a pair of wins against Caribou Trail League opponents. Chelan remains undefeated on the season at 5-0.

The Goats swept Omak 3-0 in a Saturday morning contest and came back later that evening to beat Cascade by the identical 3-0 score. In best of five matches this year, Chelan has not yet lost a set in compiling their 5-0 record. Coach Jennifer Rainville’s report from the most recent games follows.

Chelan dominated the net against Omak and Cascade. We spread the ball around and utilized more hitters today. Sasha Dandridge and Katie Rainville led the Goats in kills with 10 and 9 in the match against Omak. Sasha Dandridge and Olivia Strandberg led the Goats with 10 and 9 kills against Cascade. Next up for the Lady Goats will be a double header on Saturday against Ephrata and Cashmere.
