Chelan PUD customers may be contacted this spring to get input about their satisfaction levels with the PUD. Starting the week of May 13, Strategic Research, based in Spokane, will start reaching out to customers via phone, text and email. The research firm expects to complete the survey by early June. The PUD conducts customer satisfaction surveys every two years.
“Our customer survey is an important way to assess performance and ensure that we’re meeting the needs and interests of our customers,” said Chief Strategy and Stakeholder Officer Justin Erickson. “We want to deliver the highest value to customers and maintain a high level of trust with our community.”
Among other things, the survey will measure:
- Overall customer satisfaction
- Satisfaction with PUD reliability
- How well the PUD communicates with customers
- How the PUD is fulfilling its mission in the community
The biannual survey will be a representative sample that matches the demographics of Chelan County. It will be conducted in both English and Spanish. Strategic Research has conducted similar surveys for both public and private utilities throughout Washington state.
