LakeChelanNow will broadcast Manson Boys’ Game Friday at 3:30

There’s a great opportunity this Friday and Saturday to enjoy post season basketball right here in Chelan. The girls and boys 2B District tournament is being played in Chelan with games scheduled at the high school as well as the Community Gym.

The boys’ side of the tourney tips off Friday afternoon at 3:30 with the Manson Trojans taking on Tri Cities Prep in a loser-out contest at the Community Gym. LakeChelanNow will broadcast the Manson game live starting at 3:25 p.m.
Meanwhile, the first girls contest will pit Waterville/Mansfield against DeSales at 4 o’clock at Chelan High School.
The tournament participants feature four boys teams ranked in the Top 10 in state, including two time defending State Champion Kittitas. Kittitas is ranked number one and features one of the best players in the state of Washington in senior Brock Ravet who this season became the state’s all-time scoring leader. Ravet has committed to play his college basketball at Gonzaga University. Other ranked boys teams playing this weekend include Brewster at number six, Lake Roosevelt ranked seventh and Oroville number 10. Brewster plays Kittitas Friday night at 8 o’clock in the Community Gym.
In the girls tourney the highest ranked team is Tri Cities Prep at number 2 while Liberty Bell is ranked 12th and Brewster 13th. Tri Cities Prep and Liberty Bell will meet Friday afternoon at 5:30 at CHS. See the complete brackets listed below.
