Golf Team has a busy week coming up

Chelan traveled to Quincy for a non-league tri-team matchup (and including Cascade) with continuing great golfing weather, sunny and a small breeze blowing most of the day. Chelan’s top two boys were bested today by medalist Nate Gonzalez (Quincy) with a hot 76 for the day, and Isaac Cortes (Cascade) with a 78. Chelan’s Miles Grossberg (sr) came in 3rd with a 79, and was followed by his teammate Joey Gasper (jr) in 4th position. Quincy also took the team honors with a 371, topping Chelan’s 389 and Cascade’s 397.
For the girl’s, Quincy’s Julisa Trevino took medalist honors with a 107, followed by Chelan’s Arabelle Finch (fr) with a 113 and Elly Collins (sr) with a 116.
Chelan will travel to Leavenworth on Monday (26th) for another tri-team match, then to Alta Lake GC next Wednesday (28th) where Omak is hosting its “pod” for all the North Central Region 1A golf teams.
