Seniors are leaving behind a legacy of volleyball prowess
information released
Chelan finished the season 12-0 with wins against Wenatchee and Eastmont. Chelan faced Wenatchee and swept them in three with scores of 25-16, 25-20 and 25-9. Chelan then continued their undefeated season by taking down Eastmont in three with scores of 25-16, 25-17 and 25-14.
Coach Rainville indicated “I am very proud of how my girls played. The seniors on the team have now gone two years undefeated, with the last loss their sophomore year at state (first round against Lynden Christian). The seniors have left quite a legacy (4th at state freshman year, 7th at state sophomore year, 1st at state junior year and senior year undefeated but no opportunity to defend title). They have set the bar high for so many of the youth in the valley.”
